1. What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site (consultation booking, self-assessment, contact, or full-story request), we collect the information you give us, typically your name, email, phone, and any message you choose to send.
We also collect basic technical information automatically, like your IP address, browser type, the page you came from, and how you used the site. This is standard server log data.
2. How we use it
- To respond to you, schedule a consultation, or send a resource you requested.
- To improve the site (which sections are working, where people drop off).
- To send occasional follow-ups if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not use your information to train AI models. We do not enrich it with third-party data brokers.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. Period.
We share it only with vendors who help us run the practice, and only the minimum needed for them to do their job:
- Cal.com for consultation scheduling.
- Email service providers for sending transactional and follow-up email.
- Hosting and analytics for serving the site and understanding usage in aggregate.
- Legal, accounting, or compliance professionals when required.
If law enforcement compels disclosure with a valid legal request, we'll comply. We'll notify you when we're allowed to.
4. How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and consultation records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet recordkeeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where the law requires us to retain it.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your information.
- Opt out of marketing communications.
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email business@alignessq.com. We respond within 30 days.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable. No system is ever 100% secure, but we treat your information like we'd want ours treated.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, when appropriate, notify you by email or a prominent notice on the site.

Always seek the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or saw on this site.
Patient stories are anonymized and identifying details have been changed. Outcomes shown reflect individual responses under physician supervision and are not typical or guaranteed. Results vary based on individual physiology, history, and adherence to a personalized care plan.
A 15-minute consultation is an introductory conversation, not a clinical diagnosis. Establishing care with Aligness requires a separate intake process.
